"When photographing the union between two people and all the joy that surrounds them on their special day, I strive to create a lasting photographic collection full of beauty, emotions and details that might otherwise be lost in the blink of an eye." – Tony Lyon

Wedding photography is a funny thing. It has as much to do with personality and personal relationships as it does artistic talent. Assuming the photography skills are superb, it is often the relationships that define great wedding photography. After more than 20 years of photographing weddings I'm still amazed at how well I get along with brides and grooms, how much we have in common and how similarly we view the wedding day. I'm blessed and thrilled about it and I've ended up with some great friends (and images) along the way.

The wedding day is a time to celebrate, relax and enjoy the fun. We prefer to have photos that capture the day as it really looked vs. spending hours on posed photos. (Of course we must do some family photos but not too many.) We want images that capture the inner person we know our friends and family to be, not just their "photo faces".

I invite you to take another look at the Portfolio sections on my website & feel free to call me anytime if you have any questions. Tony
